C Class mirrors

Bruv in Law has a c220cdi with the indicators in the mirrors. Non-folding variety. Two of the LEDs are out. Can they be individually replaced and how does the mirror cover come off to get access. Is it the same as the W211?
He's 300 miles from me so I'm trying to do this over the phone

If it is a W203 C class then I think it should be the same as the W211.
Fold the mirror towards the rear and you should be able to see a chromed spring clip.
Push this in with a flat blade screwdriver and the cover is released.

You have to change the whole indi unit, the LEDs don't come out.

The indi inserts are cheap though, less than £20, plus they're bonded together so I'm not sure how easy it would be to change the leds?
