C- class mystery

Hi,

Saw a Mercedes today in UK South where my brother works. It was a 59 plate 4 door saloon and the badge on the rear said

CLC 250........CDI

I can find no trace of this model on the merc website. I thought all CLC's were the small coupe model made in Brazil. This is def a standard 4 door c class saloon. I have a C220 myself so I know what to look for.

I am really puzzled and starting to think maybe it has been badged incorrectly.The car is a lease vehicle as same company as my brothers merc.

I will post a pic of the vehicle but wondered in the meantime if this model exists

Similar examples have come up a few times and a plausible explanation is that the car has been in a bump. The badges come in a pack with various letters and the bodyshops fit the wrong letter combination.
