You're looking at (scruffy) six figure mileages on an E class with that budget.

I think to find anything half decent you need to increase your budget.
5k/estate and 2012 wouldn’t indicate bargain basement IMO.

Depends on what you want to do with it . A C class (I have one) is a saloon with a tiny bit more room in the back , an E class is a proper estate car .
