C124 hit a hundred K today..

..which links are we exactly talking about here:confused:

a bit difficult to determine what a 'click' from the rear sounds like from what i think you seem to mention WDB. I mean its nothing i thought that sounds alarming to be honest never noticed but now as you mentioned it i think yea there could be a sound. ill hear out for it and maybe describe the sound if it becomes common.

I think the outboard bushes on the spring link, you can test them for play with a little hooked crow bar from under the car.

Let the wise people have their comment, they may know more......

cheers WDB, they look like the outer bushes that sit on the rear trailing arms or the rear oval control arm right?

It's the link that holds the spring in place and supports the weight of the car.

Problem is I know these cars suffer from bad rubber in the rear at 160,000 kms, if you drive in town you'll not notice it, if you are out on the B roads it becomes noticable at 40 mph and above. These little bushes are a good start & are cheap enough to fit, but to get the best from the car maybe budget over the next couple of years to get all 10 links and the subframe bushes replaced.

i think you mean this:

...Already done as per my list of things carried out in the first page::thumb:

97.005miles New rear shocks with new rear control arms thrust arms, camber arms and links fitted together with new rear sub frame mounts front and rear. Shim pads changed to new 1bump front and 3bump rear

That's the way, my God man have you ever thought of a career in maintaining those lovely big Oil Refineries.......

Thanks mate,

beautiful, absolutley with a drop head head 320 sportline especially, you got any pics of your motor?

I haven't except for this. If anybody can tell me what it's for I'll give them 10 Pounds. I've been told only NZL got this option.

OK, I've just taken a shot, it's not clean - I don't clean it, too fiddly and it's OK the way it is.

Now, anybody for the 10 Pounds.........

hummm..are we looking at the first pic next to the box where you get the diagnostic codes read yes?

Yes. Let's see if the others know of it.

Now, it's full moon tonight, and no doubt it'll be hot in the UK so really Billy you need to think about going for a drive out in the country on a hot summers night........

of course! but i wouldnt say its too hot here just yet! you know what english weather is like.

do you know what that round object is then or you actually don't know?

I know. But I want to know if they are in the UK on the late model cars too. I've been told they were only on NZL cars which I find hard to believe. Dash, Grober, Talbir, Dave - those people should know......

is it a manual adjustable dial that retards your ignition timing and allows you better throttle response??:o
