It looks to be a superb example!

I'd like to know what other extras she has though, as the advert isn't very comprehensive and though wheels are an aquired taste - I like the design, although I would have gone for smaller wheels, as the arches looks standard.
I'm also not a fan of the early interior leather's design in the '124 series but that's just a personal thing.

The appealing thing is only 60k miles on an M103 3.0 12 valve unit with that Twin Turbo conversion

Not sure about the wheels but other than that, looks like a good looking motor with a fair bit of power. Also noticed a subtle AMG badge in that grill.

Wheels are too bling for me, prefer the more OEM look personally, otherwise the bodywork looks OK. No pics of the inside though does not help its case either.

Nice,

Wheels a tad too bling but do like the deep rim :)

Why do people stretch tyres onto wheels in that way?

Is it to acheive a particular 'look', or does it offer some dynamic advantage?

Or is it because the correct width tyres are too expensive?

I think those wheels are the worst thing i've seen on an MB for a long time!

Interesting car but needs to be put in the hands of someone who appreciates the marque....... and has a spare 9k!

It is a styling 'thanng'. State side they refer it as being 'Euro' I think it is popular in Germany for styling.

I cant imagine the ride would be enhanced at all though. Imagine parking that on a busy main road! No tyre wall protection for the rim.

Not to my liking. The car, however, looks nice.

AWFUL wheels!....I'm sure they will not help to sell the car as they just shout "Barry" and then make you dismiss the car out of hand...well it has that effect on me.

It is style but also improves turn in as the tyre wall doesn't roll under due to being under tension already.
Also it gets wide rims under unflared arches..
