Hi, has anyone ever purchased these parts, if so where from, how much and are they good quality compared to MB dealerships.
Also, are these parts unique to this vehicle or can they be sourced elsewhere from other variants / models.
Thanks

I required a new motor on my passenger side. I could not find one for the coupe anywhere, apprently the motor is different to that on the saloon.

Ended up paying £140 from the stealership for the motor. It was not really upto the standard of the original one which was made completely of metal. The new one was plastic and no matter how much I tighten it up, it seems to move a little in the door when the window goes up and down.

but I guess at least the window goes up and down :D

Not sure of the cost of a regulator. I would suggest calling MercMan in southampton to see what he's got.

I stripped one of my my motors, cleaned the armatures all up, soldered in some new brushes in them and bunged them back together and they are as good as new.

ECP do genuine OEM Coupe motors for less than the stealers @ £80 IIRC.

If you do change the regulator, make sure you have hired the right sized rivett gun in advance to replace it as you need a real whopper. HSS only had two in the country that would manage those sized rivetts.

Just had a quick look but I don't think they seem to do the Coupe window motors at all. The regulator is £76.13 though.
