Good Morning!

Ive recently picked up a very clean 64' CLA220, However after all the checks I did, Putting the fans on full wasnt one of them. Weve discovered a vibration/noise when the blower motor is turned up. From previous experience Im led to believe this is either something stuck on in the blower motor fan, or the bearings have failed.
I have tried to find a guide to remove the motor assembly but I cannot find one. Im led to believe it come out from the drivers footwell, and that the steering column needs to be moved to get it out. Hence really wanting to find out the details before I decide to gice it to a garage or do it myself.
As I suspect the car is identical to the W176 A Class, Ive also searched for that too but still no result.

Anyone experience this fault and fixed it? or found a guide?

Many Thanks!
Mark

The blower motor is behind the glovebox. The fan itself was fine. A foam seal from the edge of the wing/bonnet seal had found its way inside throwing the fan off balance at speed. All sorted now.
