My w202 is struggling to start in this cold weather... takes about 10 seconds to start up.. anything i can do to fix this...

plus i noticed while it was running cold and i was outside that i can hear some occasionall clunking sounds from the engine.. what could this be??

thanks!

The clunking could be the aircon's compressor magnetic clutch engaging and in the cold weather could be engaging/disengaging due to the already cold outside/inside temperature?

You could help the electrics by spraying the plug leads and distributor etc with WD 40 or Surestart.
