Which face plate do i need to convert from the single din to a double din space on my C180K sportcoupe - June 2004 model?

Its the plastic rectangle that hides the gaps on either side. There is 2 different ones for the 2004 models for the ones part way into 2004 and the ones in the second half of 2004.

This is the website i need to use...even though there is no prices etc the shop im getting it from order them from here and are not sure on the right part for my model Celsus ICE - car audio accessories There are 2 that i need to choose from: Part numbers AFC5708 and AFC5709.

Thanks

Need to know if your car is facelift or not.
Facelift has squared off buttons; pre facelift more rounded. Facelift will also have clear headlights

-This will tell you which adaptor that you need. The facelift was 2004, so yours could be either, depending on the actual manufacturers build date(not registered date)

No i dont have the facelift model. It doesnt have clear headlights...yet lol. currently posting in another thread trying to find out which clear ones to fit as im not too keen on those hazy lenses lol.

It is the pre-facelift model from June2004. afaik i think the facelift models are from june2004 onwards. mine was just before the june changeover.

Thats great thats all i needed to know. now i can get it ordered and finally get it all fitted. you dont happen to know of any interface that will allow the fibre optic connections on the 6cd changer to be changed into normal signals and connect to the back of a kenwood ddx 8024bt where you would connect kenwoods own changer do you?

No worries if you dont as i can pile all my music onto dvds and hardly need to change cd once i get the new headunit in.

Last question if you could maybe help. on the ISO connectors on the kenwood unit there is some instruction about swapping the power and ignitions on the wiring harness if the vehicle has a specific setup. these swappable connections are just bullet connectors that are already on the harness. It says in the instructions to swap them if the vehicle has ignition going to constant power supply or something like that. Could you advise on what needs down here if anything?

Cheers
