Help!
06 W203...After driving for 2hrs at 70mph on the motorway the car died suddenly, engine cut out lights went on to side light... 10 seconds later it all came back..I’m not happy driving it now! Anyone heard of this happening?

Might be loose battery terminal? only a guess, sounds dangerous. I would get it plugged in as the fault must be logged.

must be a horrifying experience

someone here experienced the same thing a few times, it turns out whenever he did a particular movement whilst driving his knee was pushing the key or the keyless thing and switched the engine off by mistake.

Possibly an old faulty crank shaft sensor, 40-80£ Fix.

Often happens when the engine is at temperature,

Google the symptoms.
The longer you leave it more of the symptoms will happen...

It's happened on two of my mercs
