I inherited this car last year from a from an elderly family friend, since then its been my daily driver.
A few new items were needed to make it reliable and fit for my commute, these included:
New Bosch S5 battery and breather pipe
2x Front Goodyear efficient grip tyres - plenty of tread on the rear Michelins
Serpentine belt and shock absorber
Heater blower resister
Side mirror motor cover
Blaupunkt Skagen 370 DAB BT head unit (can refit the previous Kenwood with CD changer if preferred)
Its been in regular use and used on a few long journeys with no issues. Reliable, comfortable and easy to live with, a perfect daily/station car.
Service history is not complete from day one, the are some early stamps in the book and I have invoices from recent years.
That said, I knew the previous owner who I know looked after the car well with annual services.
Exterior is not perfect but does look presentable when cleaned. Three of the arches have rust bubbles, scuffs on the bumpers and the alloys are scruffy.
The interior is actually very nice, wood dash and black seats are in good condition for the car's age.
