C200 w203 ABS and ESP faults

I have just bought new sensors. They have no resistance between the pins, like the old ones. The diode measure on my circuit tester shows a value. Is this normal? or are the new ones dud as well?

I can only pass on my experience on my S204.
I had both front sensors replaced within around 500 miles of each other at about 50k miles and the NSF reluctor at about 60k miles. Reluctors are part of the hub bearing on the 204, so it's a case of replacing that.
I have looked on Autodoc web site for for the hall effect magnetic ring for the ABS, and they are sold separately from the bearings should one fail and need replacing.

Your post and my edit PS overlapped. As per the edit - I see the different type.
Thanks for all your comments. I have renewed both rear sensors and the problems have vanished. In the process I was not impressed by MB engineering. Seems the recent cars have been designed by accountants!
