in my 2006 C200CDI, the air intake goes from the right "gate" (marked as 1 in the picture attached), all the way to the filter located on the left side. there's a second "gate" option (marked as 2 in the picture attached) on the left side and it's right in front of the air filter antrance. i assume the two "gates" are originally made for V engines.
is it possible to purchase a short hose to coonect the 2nd gate to the air filter instead?
