Hello,
When fitting new tyres recently they showed me how the lower ball joints are worn. The quote for replacements (fitted inc VAT) are £138 or £148 dependent on which joint/arm it is. They suggest using Moog parts, the quote for Mercedes original parts is double that. Car is 2013 and 60,000 miles, run mainly on crappy roads in West Yorkshire!
Quite a saving using pattern parts, is it worth paying extra for Merc original and is there anything else I should get them to look at whilst they are doing the job?
Are Moog a quality brand or are there better others?
Intend to run the car for a few years yet.
