I have a 2003 C209 CLK with the auto dimming mirror on the drivers side/wing mirror which has leaked and gone gold and not great too see through. Im not too fussed about replacing it with an auto dimming mirror so could anyone suggest what to get? On ebay there are replacements heated ones with the heating element attachments on the right side and looks the same fitting but in small print on the ad it says not sutable for auro dimming mirror replacement? I even messaged one and they said it wont fit even though it looks identical to mine? Any done this?
