C215 CL500 Windscreen Sensor Differences Early-Late

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for some advice regarding windscreens for the C215.

My 2002 CL500 has a cracked windscreen and I've been struggling to find a replacement second hand. I've just found one now, but it is from a very late C215 from 2006 and everything is identical with the exception of the sensor arrangement at the top.

Would I still be able to make the later type work in my car if I had the sensor box off it too or is there more to it than that?

Most likely be able to transfer the sensor box. Probably will need a new gel pad. I did it once on a RR with a different confirmation and it is fine as long as the clear part is the same or bigger than you need.
