C215 or W220 AMG Kompressor wanted

Having spent the evenings of the past week traipsing around to see various cars and their 'stories' (backyard trader; things not working; selling for a friend; it is my old boss's car etc etc ) I have narrowed down my next car to a Kompresser in either CL55 or S55 (ideally LWB) post 2003.

Looking for a decent example with service history.

These people have an 04 S600L bi turbo.

Maybe not quite what you wanted but possibly worth a look ?

I can't speak for this vehicle but I bought a car from them a couple of years ago and found them honest and a pleasure to deal with.

Thanks - my preference is private rather than trade. The one I saw last night seems very promising although I had thought it would be faster. While my last S600 was n/a rather than turbo, it was still a very quick car, especially in the midrange so maybe I am too used to HP?

The biturbo's are strange - decent acceleration then the turbos kick in and it is like warp speed.

Nice car but too highly priced (Biturbo's tend to, and are, sitting for months at the moment without selling)
