C220 07 Plate, 5000 Miles - ASSYST A in 45 days???

Just checked my ASSYST messages and it says that i am due an ASSYST A in 45 days...

Is this due to:
a) Time
b) Mileage
c) Something else?


Also, anyone know what is involved with an ASSYST A check? I would like to try to source the consumables to keep the cost at MB down

Assyst used to work on time and then at 18months if miles not clocking up, it switched to fixed time of 18 months service. I say 'used to' because I believe that MB have now gone to 12 months servicing intervals.
An 'A' service is about £250.

Thanks - had just arrived at work so didnt have the info to hand at the time.

Its probably a 12 month interval check then...
