Probably and old question but had all front bushes replaced 10 - 12000 miles ago. Started to hear knocking again from front. I suspose what I am asking is .. Is 12000 miles normal wear and tear or should I be asking the repairers questions or maybe even MB directly.??? Car is not driven hard as only used by misus to go back and forth to school etc...

could be bottom ball joints, quite common fault.
