C220 CDI
3rd time this has happened now. Used kickdown whilst driving and once its gets to around 70mph flashes up EPC warning and cuts all power until i put car into park and restart it. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks for any help guys. Much appreciated

Could be loads of things need to get the codes read.
Boost pressure sensor
Air flow Metre
Turbo vaines
Egr etc

Yes, code reading is what's needed.
Otherwise, I would back a low fuel rail pressure, caused by a failing fuel pump.

Yes start with getting some codes from it or if ur lucky just 1 code. A bundle of error codes can be caused by just 1 failed component which kicks up false positives for other things. What year is your car? Concerning turbos and injectors. A blatant obvious symptom of a fuel problem or turbo fault/egr valve would give u problems starting it, lumpy running, black smoke out ur exhaust and in general it would run terrible. U haven't mentioned a Smokey exhaust or any initial running issues so I wouldn't be too concerned with injectors or anything on the fuel side of things JUST YET. If ur lucky. Perhaps a leaky boost hose or faulty dpf sensor which I have seen on this model causing same fault u describe. Until u get a code reader on it. We can only guess tho.fingers crossed.....

I would guess there is an air leak in the fuel system.

When was the fuel filter last changed?
