I know when I've stripped engines in the past, if one piston is clean and the others were built up with carbon it signified a damaged head gasket letting water/steam in.

Can't have been in 2017.... that year will be Euro 6. Most if not all Euro 5 cars, like mine, have a dpf.... let alone 6.
