c220 fuse box

hello to all i am a newbie here so please be patient ( i have not got the grandchildren here to show me what to do )
i have recently purchased a mercedes c220 diesel saloon it is a 1998 model and i am currently trying to fit a tow bar and with the law now stating that we need a towing interface relay kit which i have all the relevant fitting instructions for.
my problem is 2 things really i have not got a wiring diagram for the car and also i dont know where the fuse board/box is to try and locate a spare terminal.
i know the question must sound a little trivial but any advice would be appreciated

Fuse box should be behind a plastic panel on the dash, you'll see this panel when you fully open the drivers door. As for the towing interface, I haven't a clue!

if its a w202 then its under the bonnet (top left)

Hi,
The car is a W202, there is a fuse box under the bonnet drivers side and also one in the boot next to the battery, i believe that one of the fuses in the rear box is designated for the tow bar electrics by looking at the card inside the lid of it should confirm this.

thanks a bunch that is most helpful have located the fuse box in the boot near to the battery and it does have a terminal for the tow bar electrics.
now i should be able to work out which wire is for which light in the rear laight cluster.
