Does anyone know what size the Oring seals on the oil separator are and is there anything in the oil separator that is likely to fail or can I just wash it out with a degreaser and that is that. Also what is in the pipe that comes out of the oil separator and goes down to the turbo there seems to be some kind of sensor in there is it ok to wash this out with degreaser also. I am getting a build up of oily deposit around the pipe joins and some fumes in the cabin tho I don't really know if this is the cause. Thanks

Are the o-rings missing?

If they are missing you will smell fumes. Faulty injector seals will also cause fumes.

Maybe someone replaced the separator but forgot to swap the o-rings as they are not supplied?

They are fitted I've checked. was going to replace them as a precaution as the car is getting on a bit and it does seem to get a bit oily around there. Injectors seem to be ok the car runs fine and it is spotless around there
