C220 W204 B Pillar Trim removal

Could someone advise on how i remove the interior trim from the B pillar of a 2015 coupe (W204), please. I'll pulled the rubber seal from around the door (at leat the bit that covers the pillar, but I cannot figure out the clips and don't want to risk breaking them.

Lots of things are behind your interior trim panels. This article shows you how to remove them.

They are very stiff and like most trim pieces are not really designed to be undone without damage - but it is possible (they are metal so feel sturdy enogh) but you have to be patient and wiggle them about with a flat bade screwdriver.

Are you looking for a rattle by any chance, that's what I was in there for

I'm not looking for a rattle, I've just installed a new (Android) headunit, and am installing a USB DAB receiver as the built-in one in the car is constantly telling me the device is unavailable. It comes with a windscreen antenna, but I don't want it on the windscreen. The antenna needs to be earthed, and I want to route the cable properly, so need to remove the trim. I just hope I can get it off and back on without:
1) Damaging the clips
2) Introducing a new rattle.

I managed to get the trim out; (scary AF pulling on that!) I did manage to damage the centre post on the rear of the trim (a clip in the centre that gives it outward support by the looks of it.) i've installed the DAB Antenna, now got to route the cable and put it all back and hope that it was all worth it!
