I think this might help someone, I removed my H7 cornering light and couldn't figure out for the life of me how to put the damn thing back in!
Anyway I've figure it out, so hopefully this will help someone else who's googling. Anyway here goes.
The trick to getting the bulb holder back in place is a) note the position of the two torx screws b) remember clockwise to lock and anticlockwise to open.
Now grab the bulb holder and rotate it anti-clockwise (from the perspective of the driver), it's important to get the tabs on the bulb holder PAST the torx screws (there's a tab on either side of the holder with a dimple)! You may need to use the other hand (depending on which side you are) as it's quite tight, once you've got it past the screws just push it in as far as you can and then turn it clockwise and it should lock!
