I need to change the registration plates on my 2015 C220. The front plate looks straightforward, but the rear plate is "captured" in a black plastic holder.
There's no obvious way of removing the plate except by inserting a coin or a flat blade between the plate and the holder, then trying to prise it off. I can see that going horribly wrong, because it's not obvious to me whether the plate is simply held in place by the frame (like an iPhone sitting in a case with frame) or somehow struck to the holder.
I have seen several posts about this in various places but I'm embarrassed to say I'm none the wiser!
Can someone please tell me the secret?
