Hi can anybody help please? We have problems with fuel delivery, can anyone explain how the tank system works, what does the in tank pump do? side to side or tank to engine? how come I have reserve light on and 3/4 tank of diesel. The drivers side of the tank was empty (when checked last week) after putting 15 litres of fuel in through filler, doesn't it fill into this side of the tank? could the in tank pump be stuck on?? There are two fuel level senders i believe.

The one on the drivers side is also a pump which transfers fuel to the passenger (pick up) side.

Had both senders replaced on mine recently as the sender with the pump had failed.

Do you get inconsistent fuel gauge readings?

Hi, Thanks for reply, no inconsistent readings before the issue when I broke down. The drivers side tank is the tank that was empty , that is the side I thought had the pick up,?
