C230K M111.975 Won't Accelerate over 4500RPM

Relocating the MAF is worthwhile as it will give a smoother throttle response but it won't stop oil contamination. Check the engine breathers/pcv including the oil separator and associated hoses at the valve/rocker cover. It might be advisable to clean out your intercooler and boost pipes too.

That 'victory' was only temporary, as the situation is back as it was before. After disconnecting MAF, performance restored. So I'm now looking for a MAF. I've reconnected my faulty one for the time being, as it is good enough for average driving.

About 2-3 weeks ago the faulty MAF finally allowed 4000+ RPM, although the LTFT were still stuck at 32.

Even better, today I replaced the faulty MB/Bosch MAF with a new Pierburg sensor. Now I have sane LTFT. :bannana:

Will see if this will translate to perhaps slightly better fuel mileage or if I get other benefits. From my drive today I feel that the throttle response is a little better than before, although it could just be placebo effect
