C238 E Class Coupe oil change

Hi.

I have a 2017 C238 E Class 220D coupe that does not have a dipstick to check the engine oil level.

Vehicle is due an oil service and I have been looking at the option of extracting the oil rather than draining to make the job easier.

However, as there is no dipstick tube to insert the oil extraction pipe - is it possible to use the extraction method via oil filler cap (Not sure if extraction pipe would reach the sump)?

Anyone used the extraction method without dipstick successfully?

You will not be able to extract the oil via the filler cap. Are you sure there is not a little red vent plug under the engine cover ? This will be the dipstick tube.
