C240 Sport 1999 with Black Leather

Again auto trader, went to see this yesterday

Bad news:-

Needs headgasket badly
Many dents in bonnet
Front bumper on RHS held on by philips screw ??
some damp in LHS of boot

Good news:-
Leather is rare in these and it was mint inside.
original AMG's
minimal surface rust on lower rear arches, literally nothing.

Maybe about the wheels, but about the leather - never been keen - cold in winter - hot in summer.

My sentiments exactly - no idea why people get so hung up over it!

That's quite a lot of work to do if its not aproject car, but then i'd expect to pick up a project car a lot cheaper than that!

Is there room for bargaining over the above faults?

I'd keep searching if you cant do the work yourself. There are plenty of good examples out there, picked up my C230 kompressor for just less than that in mint condition

Yeah I agree, in that conidtion with the faults you say, I wouldnt pay more than 2.5k if that!

Water in the boot will be a total hassle to sort out
