C240 W202 With Birds Eye Maple Trim ?

Is it me or does this C240 Sport estate have birds eye maple wood trim ?
I have seen this wood trim on Japan W202's but never thought it would be available in a W202 in the UK in Sport trim !

Might be the photo, but I had birds eye in my SLK and I remember it as darker....then it could be my memory !!

i think you can pretty much ask for what you want as long as its available in the range... cost is another matter though..

as birds eye was available on other models, im guessing you could have asked for it as a designo type option..

So do I simply marveous, its the first I have seen in the UK with that trim, cant believe more people didnt opt for it !

I changed my Alu-Linear trim to Birds-Eye maple. It does photograph lighter, almost brown but it's almost black in the flesh
