C250 CDI... Quick wins for sound and performance?

Hi all, any recommendations to get a bit more of a deeper sound/performance to my C250 CDI?

Diesel 4 cylinder engines don't usually sound good. Performance-wise, plenty of remap services available. MSL and Eurocharged are popular.

Would a K&N air filter give it a better sound?

Doubt it, will make a little more noise when you put your foot down, but it'll take more than a filter to make it sound more interesting. MBs are engineered to be quiet and be efficient. The AMG V8/V12 are the exception. Save your money. Get it remapped if you want it to go faster, otherwise save it for the AMG.
