Hi,
So I was driving through London to drop my kids off and no problems. Stopped the car and started it again 5 minutes later. Thats when the problem started!!!
It began to lose power, then would pick up power for a second and die again. This would go on for 10 seconds and would then cut out completely..
I would turn the engine off for 1 minute and it will start again no problem and I would let it run for a minute or so with no drop on revs, the engine ticks over as it should.
Now I have the EPC light on the dash and it does not feel like the turbo is cutting in.
Please remember I'm no expert, I just need to repair it myself.
It has a full tank of desiel as I filled it yesterday and it's only done 40 miles since.
Could my issue be the fuel sender?? Or something different??
I have checked the clear hoses that run from the fuel filter, and can not see any air bubbles!
Please help......

running problem

Hi,
just new to MBClub,

did you get the problem sorted?

sounds like a fuel pump problem!

running problem

ok just checked about EPC light,
think you need to have the car diagnostics run to get the fault codes as could be a number of things,
electrical or macanical, fault code should point you in the right direction.

other than that, check all conections including battery and earth points.
also check the vacum hoses.

hope this helps
Paul
