Hello everyone
New on here !
Iv got a 97 c250td sport ,Iv renewed all front bushes joints etc, new callipers, back plates, discs pads front and rear ,I was tempted to renew shocks to ,are any of the budget kits worth while ?

I mean ta technix or fk hightec any experiences ?
My daily commute is 100 miles ride quality is important to me as is durability

Get OEM Sach/Boge and fit new springs and all will be well for the next 120k+ miles, with original comfort and handling.

What springs would you recommend diesel man?

Iv had the car from 98k now at 190k all shocks springs currently ok (not snapped or leaking)they must be very tired ,sometimes I don't think you notice gradual wear

Btw, over the past few years any issues Iv had with the car requiring me to go on google for an solutions your name and advice have came up many times

Cheers for that

Oem for springs, Sach/Boge for dampers.

This should help - be prepared to spend a few minutes finding your car on the system, but it's very useful as ZF manufacture Sachs/Boge shocks and springs (and many other M-B OE components).

Ok Iv done a bit of shopping about Sachs /boge not to expensive £200 would buy all 4
However I could get full set of lorinser shocks from Germany for little over £100
Any1 had any experience with these I believe these to be bilstein ?

And on the springs front ,genuine springs from dealer bout £240 all in where as I can get full set of lemforder for £100 again anyone have any info on these ? There's even cheaper spring kits out there than this but longevity is important to me as is comfort
