Good Day,

I'm looking to upgrade my air induction kit on my C32 to the SL55 type as i heard these are compatible, and have increased airflow, does anyone know where you can get these from and how much they cost??

Has anyone used torquing BHP for upgrades to C32, how were the results??

Main dealer or a US tuner. Not cheap mind.

General concensus suggest that the airboxes aren't really a restriction on the 32 engine, however modding your standard intake is a cheap and effective mod ($150):

Some members here have used Torquing BHP but none had an AMG IIRC. "Jerry-tunes" are supposedly the best in the US - and they can remap it remotely - take a look at LET Motorsports Remote Tuning Kit Rental:

If you're serious about doing this, other 32 owners in the UK might join in to split rental cost. They may even waive the rental cost if enough owners do it as a group buy. ;)

torquing BHP - Not with a barge poll

Let me gess darren ...

We have had clients from them with very major problems... including new engines

they also have no approval or warranty ...

Good Day,

I done that mod on my C32 couple of years ago, parts cost approx £150 all from my local MB Dealer, and i fitted them myself in less that half an hour.

So is the consensus that a remap is done last and that if you want to get to the 400bhp mark with a C32 your looking at pulley upgrade?

If so where are people going to get their pulley work done at a not mental price?...good results?

Cheers Bobby...but where are people going in the UK with their C32's to get their pulley work done and breathing work bettered?...any companies doing an ait intake/exhaust/pulley package?

Bear in mind I'm a couch mechanic - all theory and clean hands - but none of it is really difficult or specific to AMGs. A trustworthy and competent mechanic could do it if you have the right parts - which you would have using the guys I linked to.

Alternatively you may be able to DIY fitting an air intake, and exhaust specialist would easily sort your exhaust and manifold, and mechanic for the pulley.

May be worth calling PCS in Portsmouth (member: BlackC55) to see if they could help with the fitting: they're trustworthy, competent, and highly recomended:

Back from the dead with this one, what's the story with tuning and induction on C32s these days? Most of the links above noew seem dead.

I saw this Youtube vid and was filled with 'want': YouTube - Code3 Performance C32 Supercharger Pulley

How can I get something more like this noise?

Cheers
