- C32 AMG estate and Audi TT 3.2V6 w.DSG (mk2)
For sale is my Mercedes C32 AMG estate.
It is an '03 plate with 73,500 miles.
Price: £7500.
Exterior colour: silver
Interior colour:black leather with black trim
MOT until 26 August 2012
Next service is the A-service (the cheaper one) due in 3200 miles
4 months of tax
3 previous owners including me (I have owned since summer 2010).
All MB and MB specialist stamped services
Here's the main good points:
- New genuine MB AMG front discs and pads fitted very recently and with only a few hundred miles of wear on them.
- Pirelli P-zeros recently fitted to front - barely worn
- Continental Sport Contact 2 on the rear with about 4-5mm tread left
- Auto gearbox recently serviced (don't buy one with an unserviced gearbox!)
- When I bought the car car I got every 'niggle' fixed to make the mechanicals like new - no expense spared
- I have loved (and still do love!) this car - it is absolutely solid with not even the slightest hint of any mechanical issues. Gearbox is solid and in fantastic shape; engine is bullet proof.
- All electrics work except one (see below)
- Years and years worth of receipts
Could do better points:
- minor (and I mean tiny) rust at the bottom of a couple of doors. Could easily be fixed.
- alloys slightly curbed (not my doing!). I believe they can be fixed for about £30 each
- Drivers side heated seat switch has just (in the last week) stopped working. I think it's just the switch not the seat but can't be 100% sure. Passenger side all fine.
- That's it - everything else is exactly as you would hope and expect
Spec:
Black leather AMG interior
Heated memory front seats
Bose sound system with six disc autochanger
Cruise Control
Computer
Xenons
Headlamp washers
All round electric windows and mirrors
Auto-dimming rear view mirror
Top of the range climate control including carbon filter and 'keep car warm' function (for when you leave the car for up to 1/2 hour and you want it to keep warm).
AMG speedshift transmission
AMG seats
AMG brakes
AMG body kit
AMG wheels
Other usual spec for C32.
I will add photos but currently the car is covered in snow so will probably do so next weekend. Basically - it looks the same as other C32s in silver with black interior (nearly all of them). Remember though - it's the estate version.
So, why am I selling? Basically I started a new job six months ago, and this now means I drive to and from my local railway station in the car and that is it. At the weekends my wife, the kids and I travel about in her diesel A Class. So, I have a C32 that does about 100 miles a month. I love the car, but that is just a bit too pointless. So I'm buying a Smart Fortwo. Yes, I will miss the car, but the sale will pay off the A class and mean my wife can get her new kitchen. I know what you're thinking. I know, I know....
Anyway, it's a genuinely great car - sounds cliche, but probably the best around for sale.
Any questions, send me a message or call on 07525 803326. Forgive me if I take the call at work and ask to call you back.
FYI I'm based in Rugby - where the M1 and M6 intersect so it's pretty easy to get to.
