I have made a de-cat pipe for C32's.:bannana::bannana::bannana::D:D

It is a stainless steel pipe that can be fitted DIY if you are handy with the tools.

It is very well made and sounds lovely without being too noisey.:D

With the centre cats removed I am sure there will be a power gain but at this time I have not tested this.

I have them for £360 inclusive.

As the recipient of said de-cat pipe I have to say I'm absolutely delighted.
At idle you can hardly hear it (the exhaust sounds subtly deeper) and just pootling about you'd never know it's there.
Once you plant your foot it's a whole other story. I gave it the berries on the M27 on my way home and the noise was fantastic and utterly addictive.
As to legality, I have it on good authority that the two remaining cats are well up to the job of keeping the gasses in check. The car certainly doesn't notice that they're missing - there's no warning of any description on the dash.
All in all, I'm well chuffed - cheers Olly!

Damn, so no excuses not to put my hand in my pocket!

Olly how hard are they to fit, is there any cutting involved or is it just bolt on?

Thanks

There is some cutting of the down pipes. They are striaght forward.

If anyone is interested in having one I will fit the first two for free!

removing cats sounds great and can improve the power incombination with other mods

Hi Olly, is the £360 price still unchanged? Also, would you give me a price fitted as well please? I would rather someone who knows what the're doing fit them!

:)

£360 is all in plus £15 for clamps.

That sounds fine to me. Would you be able to do this in a day? I'd be travelling down from North London and wonder if I'd need to stay over.

Cheers.

Just a bump so Olly can see this! I haven't enough posts to PM yet :(

Dont have one of these cars, but just wondering, OK its road legal because of the other cats in the system.
But would the folks who had changed them have to put the cats back on for MOT?
Only a thought, because we used to do the same sort of thing on turbo Rovers, but they only had one cat and it had to be put back on for the MOT because of emissions.

I'll give you a bell tomorrow Olly :)

Ok Gaz.

They pass MOT absolutely fine. The only reason they have two extra cats is for california emission laws.

Same is true for air injection. Rubber bumpers on MGBs, etc.

It's required for LA, but it's demonstrates environmental concern everywhere else.

So, is this true then for all cars with more than one cat per pipe?
Its a bit of a contradiction me having a gas guzzling V12, then having 4 cats for the environment! :D

I had resonator and secondary cats done today.

No warning lights. Kept the cats in case of emissions issues at MOT time.
