c32 engine change

The engine that came in the C32 is the M112 961 variant.

This is the 112 946 variant, that sat in the C320.

So looks to me like you bought an AMG badged C320. As starky has said, how was it advertised?

What does the interior look like, does it have AMG ribbed seats like these?

So long as the condition and history is fine then that's not bad price wise. Just a shame that it may have been falsely advertised, a C32 would certainly cost more than £2k.

The C320 is still a great car

Did it show up as a C32?

As a C320 owner I'll say it's still a great car, shame you were misled like that though.

This forum is great so if you do decide to look for something else there's lots of advice and guidance here

C320 great car, great motor but please remove the AMG and compressor badges as the guys at the local pub will be pissing themselves with laughter.

I might add you certainly didn't do a due diligence or research on these forums before purchasing.

Don't beat yourself up over it. You have a very nice C320 which you got for a decent price and you are happy with.
Just lose the AMG/ C32 and V6 Kompressor badges and enjoy the car for what it is.

I think I'd be letting the previous owner know he was out of order duping you by advertising the car as a C32.

I would call him ASAP and tell him he's a ****, but was a little naive to think a decent c32 was obtainable for 2 grand. I am not perfect either as I didn't do much research on my C32 and paid the price in repairs, but knowing what car your buying is a must fella, c320 nice motor bud
