C32 intake question

Afternoon,

My C32 had an SL55 intake on it with its previous owner. I didn't particularly want it (regret that now!) but I've just been having a poke around and where the rubber Y pipe goes into the supercharger there isn't a jubilee clip. Should there be? I know there shouldn't be any real pressure straight out of the air filters but surely it cant be good?

No that's right, there is a plastic lever type clip thing that holds it in place, sort of lightly snaps on.
