C32 no throttle responce and esp light on

Help esp light came on, thottle will only rev to 2000 rpm , checked wiring from pedal to module and its not the pedal any ideas (poor earth/ battery voltage/ esu)?

If you search on the various forums ( I see you have posted on mbworld as well) there are a number of threads with similar issues. Although I can't find the post right now I do remember a number of people tracking this to a bad electrical connector on the throttle body itself. It appears it vibrates and the electrical connection become loose. It was fixed either by changing the wiring harness (effectively replacing the plug) or by cleaning the connector and ensuring the connectors are tight and then cable tying the commector in place so it can't move as much. I would suggest trying this first before spending money on replacement parts. If it doesn't work it could be the throttle body or the accelerator unit - STAR would be able to diagnose this.
