hi i was thinking of buying the eurocharged pulley this week but im a bit short for buying the tune and the remote cable. is it okay the just use the pulley for a while and will it give a noticable gain ?. then in a few months i was going to go to a rolling road and have them custom map the car because this surely if the safest way, has anyone else done it this way or has everyone just bought the complete pakage from eurocharged . every car is different and remote tuning can be a bit iffy to say the least thats why i would prefer a custom map

When i put the pulley on mine the remote cable didn't work when it came to mapping (faulty batch) but Jerry said there wasn't too much of a problem for the short term.

You'll see about a 25hp gain from the pulley only and then an additional 25hp ish when mapped for it.

is there a big improvement over the stock setup , also did you get anymore noise from the supercharger

Throttle response is a lot better...you wont notice huge increases unless you do both at the same time! But with the pulley and map its a pretty big difference....just when you think the next gear won't give you much more ooomph..it changes up and it pulls as hard as in 2nd gear...no real increase in charger wine to be honest...

okay thanks i think ill wait until i come back off my hols and do the lot together, when you receive the pulley and the cable how do you get it tuned ? do you have to phone them up and arrange a set time to connect or something i dont fancy ringing america up on a mobile for any lengh of time it will cost a fortune

Yup that's the way they do it...although you phone up....download the software then its pretty much all done over the broadband and computer rather than phone
