im not sure on which way to go with my C32, jusr realised how expensive it is to run this thing, i want 4k out of it but im not sure i will get that selling it whole. its 51 plate on 110k, FSH but was a cat C 5 years back, near side front end. 25k of receipts to show fix and you wouldnt know. drives lovely, BC racing coilovers, 19 rims, lots of carbon bits, little rust on the bottom of the doors drivers side but only surface.....what do you guys think its worth in parts?
i have no idea on the value of second hand C32 parts.....
cheers all......

It seems a travesty to break a 51 Reg car. Yes it's old but not that old...

The CAT C will make it nigh on unsellable which may lead you to break it.

You wont get your money in parts when you count in the hassle factor... Just get as much as you can whole and cut your losses.

What do you think the engine and box is worth? i dont mind the hassle of breaking it, i got quite a lot of space, time and tools...the interior is spotless.

If you do decide to break It I may be interested in some parts.:)

i would of thought the lump was worth a grand and the box a grand...imagine the price of a re con one....

id sell it whole, as Jay says, too much hassle for not much reward!

stick it on pistonheads and im sure someone will snap it up.

I think thats probably the best idea, i love the car though :( been doing like 3-400 miles a weekend and its hitting the pocket hard...shame really..pics of her here...:(

Yeah sell it whole.

Someones breaking a C32 on ebay, I had the bose amp off him a year and a half ago and he's still got loads of bits listed for sale.

I couldn't stomach the fuel bills or insurance but it looks like a stunning car.

It would be a real shame to break any 51 reg that's working. Never mind an AMG with only 110k!

I need a few bits for my new C32 if you do decide to break, and I'm sure I can think of even more parts that I could buy 'just in case'...

Someone will buy it , i sold mine in 4days .
Id put it back to standard and sell the carbon bits should help make up the short fall if you dont get the £4000 you want .
The car looks great by the way .

Just out of curiosity, what badge is that on the wing where v6 kompressor should be??

thanks for the nice comments guys, i dont know what the badges are off, it was on the when i got it. says "Supercharged"

I broke my 635CSi after it failed its MOT on rot a few years back. A few juicy bits sold for good money (front wings especially) but it was a slow process to get rid of the rest. A fair bit of hassle removing, advertising and posting all the bits- I used ebay and the fees really ate into the returns.

Personally there is no way I would be ****d again!

Good stuff.
I might hopefully see you..
I'm not having any work done, long story, but I hope to get there and see some of the work going on and seeing some of the faces from this forum..
