Hi Everyone,
I recently bought new C320CDI sport. One thing I do not like about the car is the Black Pillar and roof lining inside. I have kids and they find it really depressing being all too dark. Would you know somewhere I could change it for more brighter one(reasonably priced) or perhaps if somebody want an exchange, I will be more than happy to do that.
Thank you.

Im pretty sure someone would be willing to swap.
Black headlining is usually an extra and usually looks alot nicer

the black headlining totally rocks , but im sure it could be changed.

good luck with your quest...

Everyone has their own opinion of course, but I think the black headlining in the W204 makes it look like a Teutonic Coal Hole. Good luck in your quest...

(I have the Alpaca Grey headlining in my W204 and am very happy for it to stay that way)

Contact Richard and he will research someone who can retrim the lining with Alcantara. Then you have the most amazing finish normally reserved for the most expensive Mercedes.

Now that would be one amazing mod.

Just be warned that you will need a new mirror, overhead control panel, sun visors and grip handles.

I would say on balance that the black roof is very popular on resale.

Hi guys
Thank you very much for all your postings. I have realized that I have to get used to it. But if someone is willing to change - I am happy to do so.

Take some quick measurements, figure out how you plan to get that out without removing a windscreen panel.
