C350e engine start problem

Hi guys,

Thanks in advance for looking at this thread, and I apologise if this has been spoken about before

My Hybrid C350e has recently developed a problem, when in 'Hybrid' mode and its running on the batteries, when I put my foot down, and the 'E-Drive' indicator hit the red mark, the car seems to be hesitant on starting the engine to provide the power that I'm looking for.

Also I have noticed that when stationary and I select Sport from Comfort, the engine used to start straight away, now I can hear a whining noise like its trying to start, but nothing happens.

Did you find out the issue? My C350e, just developed and started the same issue you had. I changed the starter about a year ago.

I have same kind of problem in my C350e did you find some solution about this?

Usually it's the starter motor starting to fail, check for fault codes
