C36 AMGs 4spd or 5spd auto?

So if anyone has driven either of them and had the choice which would you go for? I've got experience of an E36 with a 5spd auto but not tried the 4spd with the same engine.

AFAIK there are only a few, early AMGs E Class models about with the 5-speed box. They have the M104 engine from the 300-24 valve. All the post-facelift E36s I've seen have had the 4-speed box

as far as i know all the later ones had 5 spd boxes, as well as the facelift buttons. early ones had alot of 124 parts where the later ones had alot of 210 (E-class) parts.

The brakes are better on the later model too.
