c36 blower issues

Hi guys - recently bought myself a 1995 c36 and am very very happy with it. However, coming back from work today the heater was blowing hot, even tho the settings were for cold (non air con) and I couldnt turn on the air recirculating button, although it was all working fine this morning.
Any ideas?
