c36 improvements

Has anyone any experience in adding a turbo or supercharger to a c36 and what the cost/benefit might be?

Anyone have experience of low pressure turbos on a c36?

I spoke to a supplier of such kit reckoned it would lift the power to about 350Bhp, requires no internal mods, just the turbos added with new maifolds etc. He reckoned £6500 fitted or £4000 DIY.

I am not all that interested in peak power but a torque curve that delivers power lower in the revs. I don't thrash the engine often (just caught 3 points) but I would like a bit more grunt round town.

My motor has 78k on it and FSH, would this be strong enough to receive turbo in its doteage.

I'd like to mod my steed but I still have to convince the missus that its a good idea yet!! Neons are on order
