c36 w202 calipers

In my quest for more attractive disc's and calipers, I am confused with what the brake parts are.

Am I correct in saying that the w202 c36 '96 would be fitted with the front brakes off an r129 SL500 ? That said, if I were to buy discs for a SL500, albeit grooved and drilled >link< they would be fine?

Additionally, if I were to fit CLK55 calipers >link<, could they fit?

I would like to fit SL55 discs and calipers but they are expensive, rare and not a direct swap, so Modding would be required....

i know there were 2 types of calipers on the 202 C36early and late ones were different, do a search on club202, as i know the upgrade options has been covered.
