C36AMG goes into limp mode on Kick down

Can I get some advise

I have a C36 upon a hard kick down the car will just go into limp mode I have to turn the key off then on before the car will drive again. Can anyone say why?

Have you any stored fault codes?

More than likely a speed sensor in the auto box
Its probably not able to calculate the rpm of the gearbox and hence goes
Into limp mode
First things first check for fault codes
Then check for leaks common at gearbox connector plug
Check gearbox oil level has it been replaced ??

Hi,
722.6 Gearbox? (5 speed electronic box, it will have the same gear selector gate as you're C43).
I take it there is no dash warning lights when this happens? Speedo still work ok when it happens?
Cruise control and speed limiter work ok?

As long as I dont kick down hard fast then its ok
I have not got is on star as the car is abroad
