C43 AMG gearbox problems

I was out in My C43 last night and it made a horrible banging noise and a bit of grinding which sounded like something was stuck under the car,although there wasn't, i managed to get it home but trying it this mornining it doesn't even select a gear, can anyone recomend a reputable person to fix it as i don't just want to take my pride and joy to any old gearbox "specialist" who isn't interested in the car ?

I'm not sure if Olly does gearboxes but he is an excellent specialist and highly rated on this forum (BlackC55). search for Prestige car service in horndean on google, that will give you his website.

There is TM Motors in Surrey. But there are a few reputable Autogearbox people in Surrey.

i ended up having a new one fitted, when mine went, difference between a brand new (not recon) one from MB was around £400 ish, and i was told the damage inside the old box wouldnt be known until it was opened up, so i took the punt and got the new one.
